Triple-Lok 37° flare female connections position the sealing surface away from tip of male nose, which tolerates surface imperfections at the tip, protects the nose during assembly, and prevents gouging of the female cone seat. Dual-angle seat accepts 37° and 45° flare fittings. They feature 72% higher pressure ratings than SAE J514 fittings, but with no difference in overall swivel nut size or fitting body and no change in torque or assembly method.
