Recycling is a growing industry in many European countries.
Recycling is a growing industry in many European countries. According to Fèlix Martin, managing director of Reciclajes Felma S.A., "Spain has the ambitious goal of eventually recycling 80% of all waste." Reciclajes Felma, established in 1983, focuses on the handling of recyclable metal, paper, and plastic in Spain. The company has been using Jonsered recycling cranes, manufactured by Hiab of Helsinki.

The Jonsered cranes can be used to load and unload scrap metal, unsorted waste, paper, glass, and landscaping waste, and may be used for working with cut-to-length timber in forestry applications. They are designed with secondary boom cylinders and hydraulic hoses positioned at the side and on the top of the crane arm, to protect the components from being damaged. And boom extension hoses are situated inside the second boom, providing additional protection from the job site.
