Dura-Bar XL round bar is available up to 25 in. in diameter and in 65-45-12 ductile and G2 gray iron. It is an alternative to

steel for manufacturing large metal components and replaces carbon steel bar and traditional castings. It is well suited for producing molds and pattern and mounting plates. Ingots are cast in permanent metal molds and are supplied rough-turned to dimension +0.125/-000 in. and subject to processes designed to virtually eliminate casting defects such as gas holes, inclusions, and hard spots.
