Hydraulic starters

HCA positive engagement, noseless hydraulic starters allow high-pressure oil to flow into a pre-engagement valve when opened for easy engine starting. Starting cycle eliminates shock waves in the circuit, reduces mechanical wear, and provides high engine starting speed at any temperature. They feature an aluminum cylinder, motor, and pinion housing, steel barrel, and bronze pistons. They operate in pressures to 3000 psi, reach speeds of 7000 rpm, and offer displacements of 22.12 cm3/rev.
