Desiccant breathers prevent water and contaminants from entering fluid reservoirs as differential pressures occur through thermal expansion and contraction of fluid or during filling and emptying. Polyester media removes solid particulate material as small as 3 µm. Water vapor is removed by desiccant. They feature a polycarbonate plastic body, 1 in. NPT threaded mounting, and bi-directional, controlled air flow.
