Flared sealing rings

Stainless-steel or copper Flaretite seals have concentric sealing rings (usually five) stamped across flared face that form a redundant seal. They are compressed when torque is applied and compensate for misalignments or imperfections in tubing flare or fitting. Loctite Vibra-Seal coating stops weeps or leaks caused by scratches, gouges, pitting, and production imperfections. It also provides lubrication, prevents galling when fitting is torqued, and closes outer edge of fitting face. They operate in temperatures from -60° to 300° F.
