Press-in wiper

SH heavy-duty press-in wiper for tough scraping environments features a metal ring for press fit with abrasion and wear resistant, bonded Polyurethane wiping lip. Wiper lip reduces seal leakage without reducing ingression resistance. Metal retaining ring allows simple press fit assembly into counter bore. Redundant mechanical lock retains wiper body in gland. Self-cleaning wiper lip reduces chance of contamination accumulating on lip or inside groove.
