Webtec Products Ltd, parent company of Webster Instruments, introduced a new hydraulic flow monitoring instrument, the FlowHUB, at Hannover Fair 2009.
Intended for hydraulic system designers and maintenance engineers, the compact FlowHUB can replace up to six discrete hydraulic components — saving both installation time and total component cost. Applications include condition monitoring, preventive maintenance, component testing, and closed-loop control.

The FlowHUB can measure, display, signal alarm conditions, and transmit flow readings to a PLC or data acquisition system and measure and display temperatures. It uses proprietary sensing technology to provide high resolution.

The FlowHUB encompasses five flow ranges to 100 gpm and is rated to 6000 psi. Custom versions can be engineered to meet the requirements of special applications.
