The 2013 NFPA Annual Conference takes place next week at the Montelucia Resort in Scottsdale, AZ. In case you are not familiar with NFPA, National Fluid Power Association, it represents the interests of fluid power manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers. We are fortunate in the fluid power industry to have a strong association.
At the Annual Conference, the Board of Directors will meet and break into Task Force groups to discuss very important topics such as Workforce, Technology, and Inclusiveness. The ideas and suggestions discussed are shared with the larger board.
Additionally, the NFPA has organized several councils to address specific sectors of interest to the overall group. Councils are organized for Education, Marketing, Suppliers, Pneumatics, and Distributors. All members are invited to participate in their respective councils to discuss matters of specific interest.
