Another Fantastic Fluid Power Story

Here is a story about a wind farm at sea, aided by fluid power.

In the September issue of Hydraulics & Pneumatics, we feature an article about a wind farm at sea, aided by fluid power technology.  When you think of wind technology, the workings of the wind turbine probably come to mind.  This story is about the sea.

You see, the installation platforms have to hold steady against the rough waters of the seas when the turbines are being installed.  I think that this is an awesome article for two reasons.  One, it is top-notch fluid power content, the kind our readers want.  Two, it is a fascinating story about how fluid power helps conquer the seas.

We have run story after story in H&P detailing how fluid power meets the demands of difficult environments.  This is another in that long line.  You can read it in our digital edition as well found at http://digital-edition.hydraulicspneumatics.com/?iid=08f749e2  I hope that you enjoy reading and return for more next month.
