Press Releases – Sending press releases to the right publications should be a part of every company’s marketing plan. Getting a press release published in a trade magazine that reaches your target audience is a great way to publicize your company and products and increase your brand awareness. It certainly helps the manufacturer.

It also helps the magazine because we in the media are charged with delivering relevant content to our readers every month. Publishing information about the latest products available in the market is part of that service. So, when a company sends a press release to a magazine, they are actually helping that magazine do their job. Press releases should not be part of an advertising agreement because the reader has the need and the right to see product press releases from advertisers and non-advertisers alike.
