At this year's NAHAD Annual Meeting & Convention, the University of Industrial Distribution was part of the program. It was called UID in a Day and one of the presenters was Dan McQuiston, PhD of Butler University.
In his presentation on a Customer-Focused Organization, Dan discussed the 7 Key Practices and they include Develop a Laser-Beam Focus around serving the customer, Hardwire the voice of the customer into your organization, Let the customer define "value," Communicate value orientation to customers and employees, Build loyalty by maximizing satisfaction, Constantly improve and innovate, and Have fun doing it.
This was a great session and Dan gave a great deal of very useful information. Having the UID incorporated into the NAHAD meeting is a very useful tool for all attendees. This was a great opportunity to learn. Thanks Dan!
