e-books

I heard a report on the radio today that Google is getting involved with e-books. I did not get all of the details from the report but it reminded me that we at Hydraulics & Pneumatics got started in e-books about three years ago.

We currently have two e-books published on our website. The first is Fluid Power Basics by Bud Trinkel who had been a regular contributor to Hydraulics & Pneumatics until he passed away recently. He was an extremely valuable resource for fluid power information and a great guy and we really miss him.

His second e-book that is also found on the H&P website is nearing completion. We publish roughly one chapter per month to allow our audience time to digest the information. We really appreciate the work that Bud did for us on both books.

We are set to launch a third e-book in 2011 and it is written by Jack Johnson and is titled Designers Handbook for Electrohydraulic Servo and Proportional Systems. Look for the first chapter in January.
