Flow Meters Pass the Test

In our December issue, we ususally feature an article on aerospace technology involving fluid power. In our December 2010 edition, we report on the importance of accurate and reliable flow meters.

This excellent article, contributed by Flow Technology Inc. of Tempe, AZ goes into detail about the importance of testing hydraulic and pneumatic components manufactured for aerospace applications. Because hydraulic and pneumatic components used in aircraft are designed for maximum power density and reliability, and because low maintenance is critical, hydraulic component makers continually seek to optimize existing products and systems as well as manufacturing processes.

Accurate and reliable test stand procedures are critical to the testing of aircraft components and detail on this process is reported in this article. Check out the article and while you are there sign up for our digital issue.
