As reported in the May issue of Hydraulics & Pneumatics, the National Science Foundation has renewed the grant for the Center for Compact and Efficient Fluid Power (CCEFP) for another four years. The grant totals $16 million dollars and will be added to by industry partners and the seven universities that make up the Center.
The work done at the CCEFP is making a difference and, according t Director Dr. Kim Stelson, "The Center has transformed hydraulic and research in this country form isolated efforts by a few to a cohesive, strategically-directed collaborative team linking seven universities and many leaders in the fluid power industry.
At the recent Waste Expo show held in Atlanta, Mike Gust of CCEFP gave an update on the progress made at the Center as it relates to the refuse business. For more details on his talk, click on the title of this post. For more information about CCEFP, go to http://www.ccefp.org/
