As reported in the May issue of Hydraulics & Pneumatics, the National Science Foundation has renewed the grant for the Center for Compact and Efficient Fluid Power (CCEFP) for another four years. The grant totals $16 million dollars and will be added to by industry partners and the seven universities that make up the Center.
The work done at the CCEFP is making a difference and, according t Director Dr. Kim Stelson, "The Center has transformed hydraulic and research in this country form isolated efforts by a few to a cohesive, strategically-directed collaborative team linking seven universities and many leaders in the fluid power industry.
