A Great Fourth Quarter

From everything that I learned at the NFPA Economic Outlook Conference, the fluid power industry and the markets it serves are still vibrant and that should continue through the fourth quarter and through 2012. I am recommending that you consider an aggressive marketing campaign to take advantage of these times in our industry.

Of course, being in the industrial magazine publishing business, I would say that. In this case, though, I believe it.

We have some great topics being addressed in October, November, and December. In our October issue of Hydraulics & Pneumatics, we will highligh the lates developments in renwable energy sources - such as wind turbines, solor collectors, and more - that rely on fluid power to get the most energy from limited resources. In our Material Handling/Robotics feature we will examine how fluid power is the often the choice of technnology for operations that move tons of materials.

The Latest in Hydraulic Pumps reviews quieter, smaller, more powerful, more efficient, and more versatile pumps helping our readers to sort through the latest innovative offerings. Finally, we will take a look at reservoirs and accessories and how to get the most from these essential components.

We are going forward as always, providing our readers with great content. I recommend to all component manufactures that you continue promoting your products as well.
