Hydraulic Filtration Explored in February H&P

An explanation of the February feature article

In our promotional material sent to prospective advertisers about our February 2012 issue we promised to deliver a article about Hydraulic Filtration.  We titled it Hydraulic Filters for Industrial Applications and explained that dirty fluid is the leading cause of component failure in otherwise well designed hydraulic systems.

This article goes into some detail about not only the filter unit but also about differential pressure and bypass valves and how they affect good filtration.  So, we did deliver on our promise to educate our readers about the finer points of hydraulic filtration.

Here is the article http://hydraulicspneumatics.com/hydraulic-filters/staying-clean-filtration

This informtion also appears in our Fluid Power Handbook & Directory where you can access a great deal of information in the Manufacturers Directory section of our website where manufacturers of filtration devices are listed.  Please take a look at it and let me know what you think.
