Next Tuesday marks the beginning of NTEA-The Work Truck Show in Indianapolis. Hydraulic companies are key exhibitors in this show, as fluid power is used extensively in big work trucks. The event highlights new technologies each year and one cool aspect will be its focus on Green Technologies. Wish I was attending to get a chance to participated in the Green Ride-and-Drive event which will be held Tuesday and Wednesday, March 6-7. While most of the hybrid technologies presented then will be electric, Lightning Hybrids will be showcasing its parallel hydraulic hybrid conversion installed on a Chevrolet 3500 cutaway. Unfortunately, I will not be attending this event but anyone else who plans to make the journey to Indy should definitely check out the technology. Hydraulic hybrids are really cool technology .. in my opinion anyway!

A variety of other hydraulic firms will be at the event, including Hannay Reels, who will be showcasing its cable and hose reels and offering visitors a chance to win a portable storage cable reel. Visit our events page for a complete list of key fluid power exhibitors.
