Despite a very difficult housing situation and a sluggish job market, the fluid power industry has posted an excellent recovery for the first quarter of 2011. We should be seeing a recovery in housing some time but probably not in the near future.
As confidence in the economy improves, the employment picture will get better also. Again, the economists for the fluid power industry are forecasting a good few years. Any recovery in the above two areas will boost our industry as well
Since it is a global recovery, exports for our industry continue to help the recovery. I hope to be writing about a complete recovery soon.
