The 2011 National Fluid Power Association Industry and Economic Outlook Conference is now over. What is the key takeaway in a sentence?
The state of the fluid power economy and the markets that it serves is stable and should continue to be so through at least 2012.
I think that is very encouraging news. In fact, it may take a leap of faith on the part of some fluid power marketers to continue promoting their business but NOW is the time to do so. I order to continue competing in the global and national markets for fluid power components and systems, both manufacturers and distributors need to invest in their present and future.
I thank the NFPA and all of the speakers for their insights into the state of our economies. It is good news.
