It Makes Good Sense

It makes good sense to combine the annual summit meetings of the Fluid Power Distributor Association (FPDA)and the International Sealing Distributors Association (ISD) as the distribution members of both associations serve a similar customer set.
While many fluid power distributors carry a sealing line of products, it is often the sealing distributor that serves the bulk of the user market for fluid power seals. In fact, many fluid power distributors and system integrators acquire their sealing products from sealing distributors.

So, this is a unique arrangement of co-suppliers, customer-vendor, and vendor distributors all gathered at one place. This year, that one place is the PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. What a lovely setting for an early October meeting when the northerners are still at the end of their late/summer mode and the southerners are still in their late summer frame of mind.

It is a gret idea and congratulations to the management team of both associations led by Joe Thompson. This promises to be the start of something really good.
