Leadership

Leadership is critical to all of business. Good leaders will always direct their companies and their workforces in the right direction.

Some of the best commentary on leadership comes from author Jim Collins in his book Good to Great. In this excellent work, Collins describes what he refers to as a level five leader. Read the book and you will agree that a level five leader is destined for success in every case.

In two other very inciteful books, the idea of being a servant leader comes into play. Authors Ken Blanchard and Don Huston, refer to a side-by-side leadership in their book The One Minute Entrepreneur where the leader helps the employees to produce great results.

Author and adventurer, Jeff Salz goes to great lengths in his book The Way of Adventure to describe the importance of service. Service to your company and to your employees are necessities of leadership.

There is great potential in this world for prosperity, innovation, productivity, and peace. We need to capitalize on our human strengths to achieve all of these. The most important of those strengths is leadership.
