However, our earth is not formed and finished that way.  Both farmers and golfers have to deal with all of those undulating hills that stand in the way of their work.  In the July issue of Hydraulics & Pneumatics, we address this problem with an artilce titled Traction and efficiency rule.  This article tells how a particular machine builder uses hydrostatic drives to level the field with efficiency.

You can view this article on our website and while you are there, you can do a simple search to find more articles about hydrostatic drives from our recent past issues.  I also invite you to do a little deeper research into the components that comprise a hydrostatic drive in our Fluid Power Basics Section

When you use our website for information about one product, it is easy to move around and find more answers to your fluid power design and maintenance needs.  We also reference virtually all fluid power component manufacturers on our site.  Check it out and make it your main fluid power portal.

I am not a farmer but I am a golfer and I, for one, really appreciate the capabilities of lawn care machinery that can deal with hills.  Now if only I could figure out how to...
