Obviously, our US construction industry has experienced some trying times in the past few years. With housing starts reaching new lows on a regular basis and with commercial building held in check, you would wonder who is buying construction equipment.
Well it is being bought and it is certainly being made an made better year after year. This is apparent from the tremendous display of equipment at ConExpo 2011 held at the Las Vegas Convention Center last week.
This was not my first time at ConExpo yet I walked the indoor and outdoor display areas in utter amazement. I don't think that there is such a display of equipment anywhere in North America.
The word that kept coming to mind as I walked from room to room was "This is ConExpo."
