NAHAD 2011

The 27th Annual Meeting & Conference for NAHAD got underway today at the San Diego Marriott Hotel & Marina. This venue offers a spectacular waterfront setting in the heart of San Diego.

The kickoff presentation was given by Jim Meil, VP of Research at Eaton Corporation. His comments were very positive reflecting a growing economy. Most importantly, Jim described the fluid power industry as not only growing but still accelerating in 2011. This is a great positive sign for our industry.

With the exception of housing starts, it appears that all sectors of the US economy are continuing to improve at this point. It is great to hear that the key indicators of our economy, which I wll be reviewing in later posts, are all improving.

As I have been saying recently, let's keep the momentum going!
