NAHAD Continued

The activities at NAHAD 2008 continued on Sunday at Colonial Williamsburg. The first session involved an inspiring presentation by Gary Jobson of Jobson Sailing, one of the foremost champions in the world of sailing and extreme yachting. He presented video highlights of some very exciting sailing events.

Next up on the schedule was Bob DeStefano who guided the audience through some very helpful information on building and maintaining an online marketing campaign. His session was followed by one on Sustaining Growth Through Distribution Excellence by Kathy Newton, a professor at Purdue University.

The reason that H&P magazine participates in the NAHAD Conference is that many of our advertisers are the companies that manufacture and market hydraulic hose, fittings, and assemblies. Also, some pneumatic tubing and fitting companies participate in the association. Some of the distributors who are members of NAHAD are potential readers of our soon-to-be-launched Fluid Power Supply Channel digital magazine.

Many valuable networking opportunities took place on this day along with some opportunities for visitors to Williamsburg to get to know the area a little better. These activities, planned by the NAHAD organizing team, continued on into the evening. Another very succesful day at NAHAD.
