The power and reliability of hydraulics

If you have ever stood at the foot of a very large crane powered by hydraulics that is lifting or holding a very large load, you get the idea of the power and reliability of hydraulics. If you ever have the opportunity to go up on an arial lift (I haven't) you will come to appreciate the power and reliability of hydraulics.

When heavy loads need to be lifted or heavy obstacles need to be moved for construction projects, the power of hydraulics is evident. Even if you ride amusement park rides that send you racing through the summer sky and bring you back to earth safely, you are experiencing the power and reliability of hydraulics.

We don't take any of that for granted. In fact, we have been reporting on this modern marvel since 1947. If everyone read Hydraulics & Pneumatics they would understand better why they feel safer in all of the above situations.
