On this Memorial Day 2009, I take this opportunity to honor and remember all of the brave military people who have proudly served their country. If you have not had the opportunity to visit the National Mall in Washington, DC, you should try to get there. The memorials that have been set up to honor those Americans who have given their lives serving their country are very moving.
America is the land of the free and the home of the brave. I thank those who have served to preserve that freedom.
