Shipping Season in Cleveland

From my office window, I can see the Port of Cleveland. It is encouraging to see the traffic of cargo ships coming and going though the Great Lakes shipping channels and docking in Cleveland.

This must mean that we have some positive industrial activity going on in Northeast Ohio. It also means that the docks are active and using hydraulics to get the job done. Winches, skid steers, and cranes, all using hydraulics to load and unload.



There are many markets for hydraulic components and systems because it is the right design choice. One of those markets is the shipping industry.
