Some forecasters are calling for about 3% growth in the fluid power industry for 2010 and this is what I am quoting to my clients. Everyone agrees that 3% on the positive side is a huge relief from the nearly 40% on the downside.
We look for 2010 to be a steady slow growth year with 2011 improving even more for fluid power. This bodes well for all component manufacturers because, even though all markets will not necessarily recover in 2010, enough of the those markets served by fluid power will recover.
All combined, 2010 should be a good year for our industry. Now is the time to advertise to take advantage of that recovery and position your company as part of the solution.
