Social Media is helping us

This is an ongoing discussion.  I am finding Social Media to be very useful in my work.  I am also discovering every day that Social Media is very useful to information providers like Hydraulics & Pneumatics.

Obviously many people are finding it useful.  I found an article on Twitter that says that many young people are looking for jobs where internet access is available because of Social Media.

In the past, we were somewhat protective of our content.  Now, anyone can tweet or blog with link to our content that will be seen by hundreds if not thousands of new viewers.  Since our content is valuable, it is in demand.

Since our content is now available online and in our digital edition, we really want people to pass it along.  So, instead of replacing traditional publishing Social Media is really helping us.

I am finding that Twitter is a particularly useful tool for business but only if you are following the right sources.  If you find and follow individuals who lead you to interesting and useful content, then they are helping you to continue your education and knowledge about any given subject.  It is continuing to help.
