Some Key Questions

Here are five areas of trends that I will be pursuing

What are the trends for the fluid power industry over the next year, or the next five years.  First, do fluid power manufacturers strive to capture more efficient, lighter weight, smaller package components?

Do designers of all types of fluid power systems require such components in current and future designs?  Are designers focused on incorporating such components into designs over resourcing the best available components that will deliver the reliability required?

What does the near future hold for supply channel management?  What is the best combination of direct sales, distribution, manufacturers reps, and other sales channels?  Is globalization on the rise for fluid power component manufacturers?

Finally, what position are fluid power component manufacturers and distributors taking with Social Media?  Is is working for them and will it in the near future?

These are all questions that I would like to address in the coming weeks and months.  Of course there has been a lot of discussion about all of these points but what is the market revealing?  Let me know your thoughts.
