At the Fluid Power Conference & Expo in Milwaukee in June of this year, Tom Price of Price Engineering was a keynote speaker. He gave a great presentation about the current state and future of the fluid power industry. I have written about his talk before in my blogs. In the September issue of Hydraulics & Pneumatics, Tom has an guest commentary titled America's Manufacturing Renaissance. I invite you to read it.
Tom talks about the necessity for manufacturing in the United States and the role that system integrators play to make that happen. They take the place of some of the engineering functions that formerly existed within large manufacturing companies. While he reviews the strengths that integrators bring to the marketplace, he also lists some challenges.
We were very pleased to have Tom present at our Fluid Power Conference & Expo and equally thankful to have his comments in our September. Please take a few moments to check it out.
