Trying to get it right

Having been in the magazine business for a long time, I understand what it takes to make an issue come together. This is especially true if you are trying to publish a high-quality magazine and not just putting anything in the mail just to get it done.

Some months, everything goes smoothly and the issue gets out on time without a hitch. Sometimes things build up and cause delays. Well, our July 2011 issue is having some issues. We discovered a major mistake after some of the issue was printed. It was bad enough to have the section reprinted at an additional cost.

So, our July issue will be delayed but, as Publisher, I had to make the decision to get it right rather than just get it out. Besides, the mistake would have cost some of our advertisers some inquiries and we really don't want that.

If you are one of our readers or advertisers, please bear with us. We will get this right. I thank the many dedicated workers who have helped to get the issue put together right. It is our committment!
