Welcome 2009

I know that these are difficult economic times. It would be hard for anyone of thinking age not to know it.

Having said that, I am still very excited about the new year for Hydraulics & Pneumatics. As we enter our 62nd year of service to the fluid power industry, we are equiped to provide our 51,000 readers and our 45,000 web users with the very best fluid power engineering content available anywhere in the world.

Our January issue kicks off the new year with our excellent Designers Guide to Fluid Power Products. Even in the information age with numerous digital resources available, I believe that our Designers Guide is the very best source of "who makes what" in fluid power. Our online version of the Designers Guide offers our web users the opportunity to access that same great information for FREE.

We have an outstanding lineup of articles for all 12 issues of 2009. If you would like more information, please visit our website at www.hydraulicspneumatics.com.
