Hydraulic Directional Valves Guarantee Near-Zero Leakage

March 19, 2015
Webtec’s 280 series of directional control valves, specifically designed for offshore hydraulic control and power units, are resistant to pressures of up to 10,000 psi. Their 316-grade stainless-steel body suits them for harsh environments and prevents corrosion.

Series 280 directional control valves, specifically designed for offshore hydraulic control and power units, are tolerate pressures to 10,000 psi. Their 316-grade stainless-steel body suits them for harsh environments and prevents corrosion. The shear-type directional valves use an optically flat rotary spool with pressure-loaded seats to ensure near-zero leakage. Variations include six flow patterns, three flow/pressure sizes, three types of hydraulic seal side ports (a manifold O-ring port, straight or cranked handle, sprung center or detent handle), and various mounting options. All valves are factory configurable to the user’s requirements.
