JFPS International Symposium
The Japanese Fluid Power System Society (JFPS) is hosting the 10th JFPS International Symposium on Fluid Power Oct. 24-27, 2017. The conference will be held in Fukuoka, Japan, at the ACROS Fukuoka and Fukuoka Institute of Technology, close to Fukuoka International Airport.
Kazushi Sanada, Professor, Yokohama National University and General Chairperson of JFPS 2017, says the main theme of the symposium is “Innovation of Fluid Power for the Future.” The symposium will address current research trends on oil hydraulics, pneumatics, water hydraulics, and functional fluids.
A welcome party after registration will occur on Oct. 24. Academic sessions and social events are planned for the next three days. Poster sessions will provide a valuable forum for exchanging ideas and opinions with fluid power professionals from all over the world. Exhibits of fluid power are also on tap to emphasize industrial applications.
Online abstract submission is now open for applicants, with a deadline of Jan. 31. Applicants will be notified of acceptance on March 31, and the deadline for submitting finished papers is June 1.
