Daman president wins state SBA award

Larry Davis, of Daman Products Co., Mishawaka, Ind., a hydraulic valve manifold manufacturer, was awarded the Indiana Small Business Person of the Year by the Small Business Administration.

Larry Davis, President of Daman Products Co., Mishawaka, Ind., was awarded the Indiana Small Business Person of the Year by the Indiana District Office of the Small Business Administration. He is eligible to win the National Small Business Person of the Year award, which will be announced later this month.

Davis was nominated for the award because of his dedication to improving efficiency and customer service at his company, which designs and manufactures hydraulic valve manifolds. His innovative approach has helped Daman lead the industry with nearly 100% on-time deliveries of all orders.

Davis joined Daman Products in 1976, when his father, Jack, founded the company. Since he became president, he had introduced exclusive workflow processes to align tasks, share knowledge, create resources, and make critical decisions. He also gives seminars and talks nationwide.
