Explosion-proof I/P transducer

Sept. 19, 2012
Model 950XP explosion-proof I/P transducer from ControlAir Inc. has a bleed rate of only 3 scfh, far surpassing new EPA rules about natural gas bleed rates.
Model 950XP explosion-proof I/P Transducer with Natural Gas option, with a bleed rate of only 3 scfh, surpasses recent final rules from the US Environmental Protection Agency regarding natural gas bleed rates. The "Oil and Gas Sector New Source Performance Standards and National Emissions Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutant Reviews – (EP
A-HQ-OAR-2010-0505)" states that continuous bleed natural gas-driven pneumatic controllers between the wellhead and natural gas processing plant or oil pipeline must have a bleed rate not greater than 6 scfh. The industry has until October 15, 2013 to be in compliance.

This model has FM, CSA, and ATEX approvals for use with natural gas, and comes with a tapped exhaust and sealed conduit. It is also extremely accurate and durable. Its internal feedback design results in overall accuracy of 0.1% of span. It is not affected by vibration and change of mounting position. It is available with preset output ranges of 3-15, 3-27, and 6-30 psig. It is also available with a field selectable option, allowing the ability to change output range in the field.
