Since 1969, the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) has highlighted offshore resources in the fields of drilling, exploration, production, and environmental protection. Fluid power, and particularly hydraulics, is used extensively in this field for its ability to operate successfully in high pressures. Conference topics highlight the need to work in 25,000 psi working pressures, blow-out protectors, valves, and more.
