NFPA names new executive director

The National Fluid Power Association named Eric Lanke as its new executive director, effective Jan. 22. Lanke has more than 13 years experience in association management, having worked with one of the top association management firms in the U.S. Most recently, he was associate executive vice president of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, a 6500-member organization.

Lanke succeeds Linda Western, who is retiring Feb. 28 after 17 years with the NFPA.
