Even though this was the first year for this event and even though the manufacturing economy is still struggling, the AG CONNECT EXPO was an impressive event. The equipment on display gave the attendees a great sampling of what kind of machines are being used on modern farms. From harvesters to seeders to sprayers and all of the technology that makes them work, the show was complete.
It also included some interesting fluid power displays including Faster Inc. where we got a product demonstration of their connect under pressure demo. Also MTS revealed some interesting controls for mobile equipment that will make farming more precise. Dynamic Fluid Components showed their components used in a variety of machines as well. Argon Hytos showed a combination of filtration products and valves. Other notable fluid power component companies included Marzocchi Pump, White Drive Products, Prince Manufacturing, Hercules, HAWE, Eaton, Parker Hannifin, and Baldwin Filter.
Fluid conductors and connectors were not in shortage with displays from Parker Hannifin, Gates Rubber, Eaton Corp., CEJN, Faster Inc., Tompkins, Stucchi, and more. It is very gratifying to see companies making the effort to take advantage of an early recovery stage of our economy by participating in this show.
