Here is a quick summary of one of our excellent fluid power presentations done at the Fluid Power Conference & Expo in Milwaukee
One of our presentations at the Fluid Power Conference & Expo held in Milwaukee on June 11-12, 2013 was titled Closed-Loop Control With Practical Second Order System Consideration. Peter Nachtwey, President of Delta Computer Systems, Inc, was the presenter and he was sponsored by J.M. Grimstad, a major fluid power distributor covering Wisconsin.
Mr. Nachtwey has more than 25 years of experience developing hydraulic, pneumatic, and vision systems for industrial applications. In addition to leading Delta's engineering and R&D programs, his articles are published in industry publications such as Hydraulics & Pneumatics and Machine Design. He has also presented technical papers for IFPE, NFPA, FPDA, and various technical conferences.
Considerations and techniques for closing the control loop of electrohydraulic systems, including the valve, actuator, sensors, and motion controller were presented. Precision positioning and speed control can be seemlessly coupled with accurate pressure/force control to deliver improved product quality while maintaining smoother motion and longer life for machine components in both small and large machine appliances. Here is a brief video of the presentation.
We thank J.M. Grimstad Co. and President, Eric Grimstad for exhibiting at the Fluid Power Conference & Expo for the second straight year. We also thank Delta Computer Systems, Inc. and Peter Nachtwey for the high-quality fluid power presentation. For more information about our events, please visit our Expo website.
