The Fluid Power Conference & Expo, co-located with Waste Expo at the Las Vegas Convention Center is entering its final day. I thank our participants in this event, Attica Hydraulic Exchange, Webtec, Argo Hytos, Marzocchi Pumps USA, Tobul Accumulator, International Fluid Power of America, Dura Bar, and Hydra Tech.
This year's event was different from past FPC&Es because it was co-located with a large already-existing event. The overall attendance for the events was very good. Our previous hotel-based events generally drew an audience of 100-150 attendees who primarily came for the conference sessions. This year, the majority of attendees were present for the booths in Waste Expo and the Fluid Power Pavilion. This was a change for our exhibitors and for our session presenters.
The actual session attendance was down from previous events. Our next scheduled Fluid Power Conference & Expo will be held in Cleveland in April 2009. We will return to our hotel-based event with a focus on the conference sessions.
Our attendees have grown accustomed to excellent presentations that are very educational. The next Waste Expo will take place in Atlanta in May 2009. Please follow this blog for more announcements.
