It might be in parenting, in your career, or in your outside interests, but leadership opportunities will come your way. There are many good books that prepare you for the opportunity to lead. One comes to mind in particular, The One Minute Entrepreneur by Ken Blanchard and Don Hutson. This short but very helpful work gives you many tools for managing a business and being a leader.
I learn more about what it takes to be a good leader every day. Some of my lessons are on the job, some in my personal life, and many lessons come from helpful books like this one.
