This combination of shows has worked well for the IFPE portion of the overall event. Before joining forces with ConExpo, IFPE was a stand alone show dedicated to fluid power technology.
Since so many of the ConExpo exhibitors are companies with machinery using fluid power, this became a natural union. The exhibits at IFPE range from booths with specific components made for various types of machinery to full-fledged displays of fluid power systems and solutions.
For any technically-engaged individual interested in learning more about fluid power, this is a great place to see components and systems first hand. In addition to the many displays, there are demos given at booths that describe the latest technology.
The National Conference on Fluid Power was also presented at the IFPE Show to further the fluid power education of anyone interested in learning more about the technology. At the Hydraulics & Pneumatics booth, we launched our new Fluid Power eClassroom with the help of Bob and Tim Sheaf of CFC-Solar, a fluid power training company. Please see our website at / for more information.
At the H&P booth, we were well staffed with our Editor, Alan Hitchcox; Senior Associate Editor, Mary Gannon; and Marketing Manager, Adrian Marhefka. It was a great week for H&P.
