The NAHAD Conference program was officially kicked off with opening remarks by current NAHAD President Jack Kacsur and a very nice luncheon. Jack gave a very cool 25 year recap of the accomplishments and fun had by the NAHAD organization.
The first business session was presented by David Nour who spoke on Relationship Economics. David gave some very interesting insights into the importance of relationship in your business and personal lives. He also gave some tips on how to nurture those relationships.
This was followed by a roundtable networking session and then a presentation by Michael Marks on New Supply Chain Economics. The final presentation of the day was given by James Meil of Eaton Corp who presented his findings on the current state of the economy along with a forecast for the rest of this year. I came away with a sense of optimism.
The day was capped off with another sensational evening of hospitality presented by the manufacturer members of NAHAD including Parker Hannifin, Goodyear, Gates Rubber Co., Eaton Corp., Fittings Unlimited, Ryco Hydraulics, and CEJN among others. It was a night of great fun.
