The 24th Annual NAHAD Annual Meeting & Convention has been very productive, exciting, and rewarding. Once again, the excellent staff of the management team led by Joe Thompson, Executive VP, (see photo for Joe and Kristin) has done a wonderful job of organizing a meeting that best utilizes the time of all attending delegates while also providing time for networking and some relaxing.
The setting of Colonial Williamsburg has been most interesting and you should visit if you have not had the chance yet. The facility has been superb and the company and hospitality have been cordial, welcoming, and very professional.
Monday's sessions included Building a Value-Added Culture by Tom Reilly and Building Customer Loyalty Through Service by Christine Corelli. These sessions and all on the schedule have been worthwhile, informative, and filled with good ideas.
Tuesday's activities included the very important Contact Tables session. This is an opportunity for manufacturers to meet with current and prospective distributors for their products. This session provides a great networking for H&P magazine as many of the hose, fitting, coupling, and accessory manufacturers are our advertisers and prospective advertisers. The session was very large this year and a great deal of networking did take place.
As for H&P's involvement in this Conference, I have had the opportunity to interact with many of our exisiting customers, identify many new customers, renew acqaintences, and make new friends.
