Our industry has potential

There is still great potential for fluid power technology even though it can be considered a mature technology.  Rising fuel costs, environmental mandates, noise mandates, and anti-idling mandates all offer opportunities for fluid power to supply solutions.

At the 2011 Fluid Power Conference & Expo is being held at the Cleveland City Center Hotel in downtown Cleveland.  John Treharn of Parker Hannifin is making an excellent presentation about the drivers of change for hydraulics. 

A growing world population and all of the needs that go with developing countries, creates challenges for governments and companies supplying for these needs.  It is clear that fluid power offers solutions and these are being discussed today in Cleveland.
