This is another example of pneumatic technology providing the best design choice. Because of the critical need for washdown, the air motor fit the application perfectly.
Key to the choice of the pneumatic motor in this application was the washdown capability of the air motor. It was not only capable of withstanding the water but other harsh chemicals used in washdown. The air motor also assisted in the providing air for opening the bags in the packaging process.
